User Experience (UI/UX) Expert

Overview
We are looking for an incredibly talented and independent thinker! An innovator who is extremely creative and has great passion for usability and unwavering empathy for the customer. He/she can thoroughly understand the product requirements as well as the target users and their pain points. They can communicate the product vision by visually conveying its core competencies to both external and internal audience.
The candidate has enough technical competence and background to balance design elegance vs. what's possible to implement in code. He/she can establish usability goals for new and existing web/desktop/mobile applications and generate long-term usability plans, collaborating with software developers, web UI designers, and product managers. The candidate needs to have fervent enthusiasm and a strong eye for information architecture. Our products include rich web applications and web widgets as well as client and mobile applications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in UI/UX
- Translating product and user requirements into innovative wireframes, prototypes and written UI specifications
- Proven ability to plan and conduct usability tests, cognitive walkthroughs, heuristics evaluations, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems
- Very good English (spoken and written)
- Great verbal & Visual communication skills
- Relevant academic degree, an advantage (human factors, cognitive psychology, HCI etc)
- The User Experience Expert is part of the Product Management team and is a key partner to the product managers
